Your responsibilities:

• Welcome and advise customers on the choice of frames and ophthalmic lenses according to their specific needs.
• Ensure the adjustment and repair of frames and lenses to ensure optimal comfort.
• Carry out verification of the conformity of the glasses before delivery to the customer.
• Partner with optometrists to deliver a comprehensive and professional customer experience.
• Manage orders for lenses, frames, and other optical products.
• Ensure measurements are taken for corrective lenses.
• Perform Pre-test examinations under the supervision of the optometrist.
• Work as a team with sales staff to provide exceptional customer service.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure safety standards are met.
• Ensure regular follow-up with customers to inform them of the availability of their orders.

Profile sought:

• Optician diploma (mandatory).
• Valid practice license from the Order of Prescription Opticians of Quebec.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Fluency in spoken and written French; spoken English.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Thoroughness, rigor and attention to detail.
• Comfortable with IT tools and management systems.
